Sounds like a useful addition to the clan here. I m sure Im not the only one who will say welcome and hope your another grumpy old man too!Hi all, I'm an old guy who has some mechanical and electrical experience but always willing to pick someone else's brain.
WARNING TO ALL!!! Continuing story from my faulty dipped headlights. I diagnosed the problem is a faulty output from the BCM so went down the breakers route first with RVS Autos, who confirmed they had one with the requested part number at £175. After waiting over two and a half weeks for it to arrive, due to ordering on the week of the bank holiday and the postal strikes, only to find it was the wrong part number. I duly sent it back to them as tracked parcel post £11.15 and requested a refund ( still waiting after 14 days). I then was quoted £360 for one at AAH Automotive solutions ( this time I asked for a photo of their BCM to confirm correct part number) paid £360 on their secure paylink on 25th August, still waiting for it yet. I have also asked for my money back but it's not happening. I intend to pursue both breakers through the small claims court.Hi all, I'm an old guy who has some mechanical and electrical experience but always willing to pick someone else's brain.

P.s. To get my van through the Mot I removed the dipped headlights relay, made link cables from the relay socket on the fusebox to the relay ( supply positive and load) then took an ignition positive from the fusebox via a small fuse to a temporary switch then back to the relay coil and a negative also to the relay coil. Looking to find a Fiat dealer to supply and program new BCM.
hiContinuing story from my Ducato faulty dipped headlights (BCM), a few days after sending AAH Automotive a Letter Before Action to get my money back they sent me the Body Control Module but this was too late (over 5 weeks late) as I had already booked the van in to a Fiat dealer grrr!!!.
The upshot is I had to pay £900 up front to the Fiat dealer to diagnose and order new BCM which means I'm left with a used one from the breakers.
If anybody needs a used Ducato BCM I'll offload it at a very reduced price.
