Well finally we have the Punto making an appearance here in India. It was launched on 17th June, 2009 and I paid up the booking amount on the same morning. I had waited four years for FIAT to wake up in India.
Due to Transport authority issues, the vehicle registrations couldn't begin before July 1st. Sad but couldn't help it. Picked up my Hip-Hop Black 1.3 MJD Punto Emotion pack (that's what it is called here) on the 1st July as soon as the registrations started.
I am loving it ever since. I am here to know more about the Punto since even the FIAT dealerships in India don't know as much as the info available here. Hope to see more members from India here.
