Hello.
We subscribed to the forum a while ago but didn't yet post or introduce ourselves.

We have a Fiat 500 (2009 - 1.2 8v)

Its our first fiat in a long long time.

We have had about 20 Citroens and about 15 Peugeots and over 50 classic minis, however only 2 oriinal fiat 500 about 20 years ago and were transported to school in the 70s in our aunties Fiat 1500. Transported is an optimistic word - we spent a lot of time pushing it !!!!!

We love our little 500 and we do about 2000km per month in it. We fitted a Flexfuel kit and run it on E85 (100% - no diluting with petrol).

It doesn't have the snap of our Peugeot 205td but it delights in other ways.

Hello and welcome.

Many happy memories of camping holidays in France when we were younger. Wife, self and 3 kids all packed into my Austin Ambassador with tent, sleeping bags, and goodness only knows what else packed in around the kids on the back seat so tightly they couldn't move - probably for the best as it prevented them murdering each other!

Digging up an old thread..........we have the same car and are also in Bretagne!...thinking of going the e85 route...just asking before we start the process if the car is a bit more powerful as in more torque. We find ours woeful on the power front, which is fine for around the countryside but would like a bit more zip on a run!

Other than that, where do we get the conversion kit......do you need bigger injectors?

Hope you can help
