Am on the look out for a panda 4x4 if you see one or know of one then i WANT IT.

Never mind him! They were built to go off-road so use it as nature intended.

Serin, if you look after it and wash the crap off afterwards it will be fine.

and it will still rust like fook, look at jims, and thats very well looked after and not properly offroaded

this one is, hes looking for proper offroad wheels and tyres etc

looking for an old one - firstly i am going to do a pikey underseal job on her, get rid of any rust on her and then get the hole shell resprayed army green colour so should be alright for a while me thinks, and wash it each time i use her off road! You wait this Panda will be proper mate

Pete, Jim's car was restored a few years ago and there was NO rust prevention at all in the sill drainage area. That's why it rusted. Pandas only rust badly if neglected. The only rust area to speak of is the bottom of the doors on Pandas.

do most people on ere underseal or waxoyl their motors? I think i may do that to the bottom of the door and then chequerplate along the bottom, may look quite flash, add a bit of protection and sort of prevent rust or being able to see it

OMG there are hundreds left! Get it off road! Only 500-600 tipo sedici's ever brought into the country and loads must have been scrapped or written off!

Dont be worried to get it off road.. Just wash it down after and lube and oil the bits that need it. If it gets rust then get out the welding set!
