Hello everyone,
New member here. In South Cambs and power of a 2018 fiat 500. Been desperately looking for an under tray for the car as my wife came home saying that there was a weird noise from the engine , when I opened the bonnet, I could see the pavement under the engine!!! Tried to buy an under tray from eBay but was told it was not the correct part for my year Fiat 500. By the way, final comment, if anyone driving a Fiat 500 sees a nutter driving the opposite way in a 500 and waving, it’s me!

And... you can drive without the under engine cover. I don't know why Fiat stopped putting them on, it's very annoying.
I mean... it's probably money, I know, but it's insane.
My Punto didn't have one and still doesn't. I searched for one but couldn't find correct part to buy.

What was the weird noise? Just that, cover missing?

Hello Mike, thank you for your reply. I’m going to have to try to get underneath. I only realised after posting this that the car very likely never had an under tray. Something I find mind blowing. The nose I am hearing almost sounds like a scraping sound under acceleration but it goes away if I release the accelerator. My concern is that this is a gearbox issue, but shifting gears remains smooth. So want to take a look under the car just to check exhaust pipe . We also recently had a truck drive past our village and spill a bunch of what must be tarmac pebbles. It was heading to a road to be resurfaced but lost a chunk of its load as getting there. This left these sticky black fragments everywhere and it wouldn’t surprise me if they got stuck under the car. But honestly, the lack of under tray does bother me. And if I find at least bolt holes for one, I will try to fit one myself.
