Morning eve, just a suggestion, maybe you could swap your connect unit over with another one (if you could find a willing abarth owner ) this would then prove if its your radio itself, or aerial,wiring etc?

ooo does your radio have auto frequency, cause if it does it normally goes and finds the strongest signal available

i havent got a stilo so i cant tell you how to check it

Just fitted the teeniest weeniest chrome ariel on my Stilo and i still get amazing reception.
