Hi all.

I'm a new forum member and I've posted a question in the eco drive forum, which hopefully someone may be able to answer for me

I've got a Fiat Qubo at the mo, 1.3 diesel dualogic. Previously owned a 2006 Panda, 2007 Grande Punto, 2008 Bravo, amongst the 45 or so cars I've owned in total!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy New Year.

45 cars!! i bet you cant remember them all?! haha. have all the fiats you owned been reliable?

Hi Paolo.

Yeah, you're right, I can't remember them all, and don't want to as some have been really awful!
The Fiat's have all been superbly reliable. I have had some minor issues with rattles/build quality but mechanically they have all been without fault. I must say though that the 2 best built Fiat's I have had have been the Panda and the Qubo. They both give feelings of solidity and good build quality. The next best was the Grande Punto and then the Bravo. Fiat's smaller vehicles are definitely the better built ones in my experience.
Happy to stay with the Fiat brand as they have a good range and the value for money and features seem better than most of the opposition.

i dont know why everybody goes on about fiats being unreliable as i had a 2007 1.2 grande punto as my first car and it never had any problems at all (until a lovely lady decided to write it off for me) bearing in mind i was 17 and showed it no mercy it ran perfectly. then i had a 2001 1.0 vw polo and i had no end of problems with the electrics and i had to replace the whole exhaust system from head to back. so a few months ago i got rid of the polo and got myself a 2008 grande punto t-jet as i love them so much and i test drove so many different cars but i just had to get another grande punto!

The Punto's are great. Only reason I changed to the Bravo from the Punto was for space reasons. The Bravo interior was much better than the Punto, until the new Evo came out.
I then changed from the Bravo to the Qubo for running costs reduction and even more space. Very happy with the Qubo.
I don't have a problem with Fiat reliability.
