Hi guys, I'm Eli,
I am in Washington state, U.S. I joined the forum because I am looking into importing a Panda 4x4 classic once I turn 18 as a present to myself!
I know this is probably a horrid idea but I figure if I keep my budget around $8k in total, I should be able to come out on top when it comes time to sell! The values also seem to be climbing so that helps. I have never seen one sell for under $10k here in the states.

It will be a few months still though, so I will absorb as much information I can in the meantime!

A little bit more about myself:
I have a 1980 Triumph Spitfire that I rescued from a nearby alleyway (where it sat for 26 years) that I am in the process of reviving.

It's previous parking spot:

I am in the process of swapping out those horrible plastic bumpers for some chrome ones from an earlier model!

I daily drive a Mk5 Gti with 231,000 miles that was given to me by a family friend.

This picture perfectly hides the pealing clear-coat on the hood.


I am also into rc crawling and have built a number of custom trucks over the years (most are unfinished)

I look forward to diving into this sea of knowledge!

Welcome! And it sounds like your already on the right track of being a true "gear head" like many of us longer in the tooth, in the car addiction syndrome! Too many are never enough! I'm at about 230 so far in my lifetime.

Yes, I am addicted! I have resolved to not own a boring vehicle for the rest of my life unless absolutely necessary! I would like to reach 230 at some point!
