HI AND HELLO TO YOU ALL.
Basically i bought a punto 60 s 98 model it run fine then would not start i replaced the starter motor to no affect also replaced the 2 coli packs for new ones also new sparks and nice oil change. Then i mechanic (lol) took my car away saying it needed now tyre's and a alternator as that's the apparent problem he took my car for 2month and also took 300quid for 120 new tyre's that's at discount price to so he said. My girlfriend picked the car up from the garage the car was already running she said when she got there sounds suspicious wright ? anyway got the car back no receipts for any parts and soon as the car is left overnight it does not start thus killing the battery so i bought new battery nothing also checked the so called brand new 100 quid alternator which is the same old one as before so all i have for 300 quid is still a car that has to be jumped started after standing it will start after being run for 5 minutes or so just after a few hours nothing. Also noticed the starter motor has been changed for the one i just bought whilst trying to get car to start anyone any ideas on what could be the cause my guess is alternator but just thought i would ask you guys. thanks i go on abit lol. O and the guy won't answer anysort of text or call think i got done by a dodgy mechanic.
