500 Hello another newbie

Just came across the site looking for information on which phones will work with blue and me both for calls and texts but also music. That's my only frustration with my 500 is the lack of a USB or ability to play my phone music. Any suggestions?

Can't you use the cigarette lighter with an adapter? I do. I have 2 USB ports on there, AND you can still actually use the lighter (theoretically). There's also a USB port in the dash. I have the least expensive Fiat on the planet. So they only have MORE features from my 500 POP
Is USB not adequate for your phones? I got my iphone5s programmed just fine with Blue&Me (after a few scuffles, lol)

sounds ok, for 12V power ,
but will it communicate with the B+M for music..??

I use USB ..so assumed the data is somehow transferred differently..:shrug:

Hi Charlie. Have you TRIED the USB already in your car and found the music not to work from your phone? I haven't, I like old fashioned radio (not deciding what's going tone played), and using my phone for music uses up my phone battery, even plugged into the USB. I have an older iPod I use for SPECIFIC music, so I can use my phone, as, a phone - or GPS. Lousy GPS with WAZE, I might add. She tells me to turn left AFTER I go through the light-straight! We are FINALLY learning to get along (WAZE and I). I don't see the problem playing music with an iPhone6 with the USB provided. Please elaborate?!

Remember lots of usb ports only supply 500mA a modern smart phone needs 2000mA so whilst it will charge it in standby once you start using it, it will slowly go flat, you need a good quality stand alone charger.
