Punto Evo Hello and help!

I have a 2003 Punto 1.2 16v eleganza. The power steering motor is broken and I wonder if anybody could tell me where I could get a second hand part as the lowest price I have been given is £180 + VAT and that is without fitting it yikes!!!!! Desperate to get this done as my 13 year old son is an aspiring boxer and I cannot get him to training without my little "work horse"

Hello, and welcome to FF,
I don't know where you are based.. but a company in Bristol do good sensibly priced work,
The FIAT power steering uses 3 major components, and other sensors,
how have you diagnosed you need the motor..??,
as it' fairly common to change the motor and discover that's not the fault,

yes LOTS of second hand units around.. ebay is always promising..,

BUT if you're paying somebody to fit it.. why run the risk of a dud unit..??,

Because a new genuine unit is over £600 on its own?
