Hey all,
Just thought I'd drop by and say hello and seek some friendly advice. I'm not sure where best to post this so I thought I'd start here...
Basically I've recently bought an 06 Grande Punto Sporting 1.9 JTD and I'm chuffed to bits with it - great car with great performance and economy. So far, not a problem mechanically and I've done 10k since I got it 6 months ago.
I do have what I assume is an electrical issue with the dual climate control which is getting gradually worse - basically it blows faster and slower constantly and won't settle down for long periods. It only stops if the power is turned right down to zero and it usually behaves when the engine first starts. The temperature is fine and it's been Summer so I've not bothered doing anything about it till now, but what with the weather getting colder I figured now's the time to get it fixed.
I guess what I wanna know is if this is a problem common to Fiat's, or has anyone else experienced this weird glitch? If so, your help would be much appreciated...
Thanks
Karl
