Technical heater suddenly stopped working

Advice greatly appreciated. With winter rapidly approaching my heater has stopped working. It just blows cold air. I have no idea where to start looking.

Are the heater control levers working correctly? is it running loose or with some resistance? first i would check hot/cold lever linkage to hot/cold flap next to heater matrix.

:yeahthat:. It may be worth checking your water level first, if it's low for any reason your heater won't work properly.

mine didnt work, and i flushed radiator out, loads of crap came out. then refilled and it worked. easy job worth doing.

Try all those things first and if it's still no good it may be the valve on your heater matrix.

My heater has packed in now. I'm going to try flushing the rad tomorrow but could anyone tell me where the heater matrix is ?
