Technical Heater problem

Hi,
I have a problem with the heaters in my car, the temprature switch will not rotate past 3/4 of the way to hot unless you hold it there, if you twist it to full hot and let go it pings back to the middle. You can get it to stick 3/4 of the way round though but it still doesnt blow out very warm air. This is the only dial that does it, the speed and direction ones are both fine. I'd obviously like this fixed before I need to defrost my car as I dont think it will do it quickly at all! Any ideas?

But it says they are for the heater speed not the temprature, or does anyone have a link to where I can get one. My car is very cold! lol
