HI
I have read several heater issues here on the forum, but can't find one similar to my issue.

There is no heat in the cabin from the heater. I need to figure out if it is just a cable issue.

The fan is working OK
The engine temp seems normal at half way on dial.
I can feel hot water through the pipe going into and out of the cabin in the engine bay.

When I turn the heat knob from cold to hot, I can hear something moving, up to half way (when the red on the dial shows). Then nothing.

So am I right in assuming it is a lose cable, not opening heater flaps? Or could there be another issue as there appears to be hot water in the pipes both sides of the internal radiator.

Thanks

"Bleed Valve on hoses"

OK thanks for that,
I saw a screw head on a hose comming out of bulk head is this what you mean?

Are there any others?

Thanks

I've tried bleeding the system, but made no difference, there appears to a be good flow of hot water.
So now to find out how to access the heater cables behind the dash

OK, I have tried getting behind the dash and found it much harder than I thought.

So before I go any further, can someone clarify where the heater knob cable goes to?

Does it go to a mechanism behind the dash, or into the engine department?
Also, has anyone a simple process somewhere to access this area?

Thanks again.

OK I am braking up the wrong tree

I thought there was a physical cable behind the heater control, but its actually an electrical switch.
So clearly something else wrong
