General Headlights turning off automatically?

I will have to check, again, maybe I didn't press it hard enough?

Mine might have been stiff from lack of use! I average probably two 'beeps' in a year. In a hurry I also, from sheer long-ingrained habit, tend to try and push the centre instead of pressing the ends and it doesn't always work.

Quite likely that they are triggered by an Ignition Live,
turn them off in a menu, possible in most models

They do, yes.

it is possible that this happened after changing the counter to TFT. If it's set on the radio, it's not good.
