Technical Headlights come on all by themselves

The headlights on my Fiat Ulysse come on all by themselves when I'm driving along the road. People think I'm flashing them which is a bit dangerous. It's been in two Fiat main dealers but so far no one has diagnosed the problem.

If anyone has had a similar problem and found the SOLUTION I would be grateful to hear from you.

To help we need more info, model/year/engine etc

If it's later style then I would suspect the switch (common on scudo) or water in engine bay fusebox.

I presume the automatic headlamp function isn't active? If it is maybe the senor in the windscreen is playing up?

Hello Dynamicdave - I have recently noticed my headlights also coming on by themselves. Very scary, as you say, if other drivers think you're flashing them. I now drive with headlights on all the time, until I can resolve the problem. I dont think its the switch, but more likely another software bug. Regards Davecia

We are having the same problem on our 2004 2.0 petrol ulysse eleganza, at the moment we are driving with our head lights on, my thoughts are the switch is playing up, does anyone know if the eleganza model has auto headlights.
