Hi folks, I've searched previous threads for a while, but can't find an answer to this one. Is there an easy way to remove the spring clip from the headlight bulbs on my CLX? It looks like it should come off the bulb and I could therefore reuse it when changing the bulbs, but they seem really tight and I don't want to force them.
The reason that I've been looking at the headlights was because I had a pretty spectacular near miss at a roundabout last night where a van changed lanes in front of me and it required some pretty hardcore swerving to avoid him ,
I think my dim headlights were defnitely a factor and I know that's generally the case with our wee motors from what I've been reading, but could anyone point me towards a link to a good bright bulb that will fit? I currently have H4 type bulbs fitted, but they're not up to much.
I may look at fitting relays too.
