We all know that our Bravo's that don't have xenon, have bad headlights, short beams especially, so hid is the best solution. Do our headlights have an adjustment screw's somewhere, to lift the beam up, or something like that?

Read the guide again, you don't need the AC-AC height, there is no such number.

As the guide says, AC-AC should be 10cm below HC-HC. And HC-HC can easily be measured (as explained there).

It's normal if your headlight beam seems low, it's because it's crap :) Upgrade to xenon as soon as you can.

I have xenon, orignal equipped with bi-xenon. The light is quit bright, but the beam is only "a few" meters ahead.

I don't understand the explaination for HC-HC.

When I change the vertical adjustment (my previous post was wrong, horizontal = vertical), line AC-AC goes higher and line HC-HC also goes higher? So the difference between AC-AC and HC-HC will be always 10 centimeters?

Or is HC-HC a given line that never changes? Let me think again... HC-HC is a 'virtual line' exactly as high as the ground clearance of the center of my headlights? So AC-AC has to be 10 centimers lower as the center of my headlights.

See my (nice :)) picture.

Exactly. HC never changes, is the height from ground to the center of your headlights, marked on a wall 10 meters in front of the car.

Once you have HC marked, just adjust AC to be 10cm below it.

I am surprised however that you need to manually level bi-xenons. Bi-xenons level themselves, I didn't even know manual adjustment is allowed...Something must be wrong, or you have regular headlights (non-xenon).

Thanks :)

I don't know if I need to. I only think my beam is too low. I already visited the dealer, the've tested the beam and said that everything is perfect. But in my opinion the beam is too low...

Indeed, the levelling is automatic. It's always levelling to a certain height. But you can adjust that "certain height".

I have the bi-xenon lights for sure. And i paid for :)

I had the standard xenon (they're not bixenon) on my car and the light was OK.
now after an accident I downlgraded to normal headlights and they really SUCK A LOT !!!
then added aftermarker Xenon, made almost no difference. HID is really useless on standard lights.

the reason : the lenses are not the same on xenon and non-xenon bravo headlights, they're much bigger on the xenons.

the standard xenons are impossible to adjust manually, they will always adjust their height automatically no matter what you do with the screws.

that is not true
the fabric xenons don't have adjustment from the driver seat
but the are adjustable by the screws
the headlights must have correct staring position, and then the self-leveling system will work

Exactly! With the screws you can adjust the starting position. I've checked the height of my beam with an other car and I think the beam is right. It seems to be at the same height as an other car.
