Headlamp Washers Not Working

I'm sure this has happened to some of you.

Any ideas how to fix this, car was bought and all the washer pipes had blown off for the front and rear washer jets, so i'm guessing the same has happened for the headlamp washers.

Is there a quick fix for this? Don't fancy removing bumper to get at them.

Don't they only work with the headlights on or something daft like that?

I wish mine didn't work, they make a mess of your bonnet! The only advantage I can see is the spray just reaches the windscreen, which is handy on cold morning when the main jets freeze

LOL, you can de activate them.

I had a Fiat Bravo GT which is a HLX but it came without the headlamp washers. The trofeo and formula Bravo's don't have the headlamp washers either.

All you do is follow the pipe off the pump to the place it connects to a joint where it splits the washer fluid.

All you then do is go fiat buy that joint and no headlamp washer jets.

I just want them to work as it comes with them

They are a right pain in the @rse, i will have to block mine up...

Driving back from work tonight on a road with no lamposts, it was really difficult to see anything on the road, i even had to put my fogs on to see the edge of the road and the white lines...

I had a bit of crud on my windscreen, sprayed my jets and i couldnt see a damn thing. The water virtually stopped the light from my headlights!

Got it wrong, sorry its the pump that needs changing. Get a pump out of a SX and refit the bonnet and rear washer jet pipe. Leave the headlamp pipe tucked away somewhere safe.

I seem to remeber someone posting about the fuse for these being in the engine bay, true?

Thats also true. But i'm sure the fuse is used by other things aswell.

nope, takent the fuse out of mine and everything else works
(mines an import but if sholdnt be any different)
