Head Unit Help?!

I got a problem... I have put an in-dash screen where my head unit was, but it doesn't have a built in CD player. My DVD player is in my glovebox... I just have a problem... Where can I put my head-unit... At first I mounted it under my glove box, but looked a little poo, and people kept kicking it... I got angry at it about an hour ago and pulled it out I have been trying to find places but I just cant find anywhere to put it... any help would be apreciated...

maybe where the heater controls are like daz did with his screen, though i don't know what depth you have

where the ash tray is?

do you have a passenger airbag ? if not then that useless recess on the dash could be used and then you could buy the airbag cover to hide it from thieves

I'm having the same problems bud, bought a graphic equalizer and still havent installed it cos i dont know where to put it without making major alterations to the dash. this idea that bahney has suggested sounds good!
Any more info bahney?
