I have a 89 Panda 750 and the hazards aren't working. I have checked the fuse and it seems to be good. Any other things I should check before I start tearing into it? I just got the car and have no manuals to go off. If you know where I can get a manual in English and willing to ship to the U.S. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey there Welcome to the forum!
A Fiat Panda classic 750 in the USA! that must be awesome!

have you cleaned up any of the earthing points in the engine bay at all? follow the black wires till they go into a multiple "hedgehog"/spade connector tree, just give them all a bit of a fine sand papering followed by a dab of copper conductive grease on each one. that fixes pretty much all electrical faults.
there's one earthing point near the battery just below the suspension strut, there's one behind the headlamp where the washer bottle is, and there's another behind the.. (for a left hand drive car) drivers side rear tail light cluster.

one other thing to check would be the little flasher unit on the fuse box. maybe the load on it is too much when all 6 indicator/turn signal bulbs are flashing...?
as i remember it is the.. umm.. 2nd one across just above the fuses.

they can be hard to find .. a standard 3 pin flasher will work (so long as the pins are in the right order) but you may loose your dashboard light.. hence in the following picture there being a wire coming out of the relay going to the light in the dash:

basically i soldered a wire onto the coil side of the relay inside the flasher unit. so i still get the one dash light work for both sides.

as i remember, that flasher unit came from out of a Ford Sierra..

also if you just cant find one that will fit (the pins are all in the wrong place) on the fuse box its self, you can unclip the whole thing, turn it around and , by jamming a very small narrow flat blade screw driver down the side of the spade connectors, get them to come out so you can put them in any order you want. the whole fuse box just slides back in :D

if you have any pictures of the panda, i think i speak for most in the classic panda section here, we would all love to see it!

i only know of one other Fiat Panda classic in the USA and it is a grey 4x4 known as Juppy that now lives in a motor museum.
if you google Juppy the Panda you will find pictures of it :D

Edit: here it is parked up at Times Square:

The switch itself might've died failing DragonMans suggestions.

It has little spade connectors on the back that I find can come loose. The dash comes apart quite easily, 3 screws along the bottom of it (above the headunit bit) and 2 on the sides. Then the whole thing kinda pulls out (you'll need to pull the rubber stops off the end of the heater controls, they just pull off) the fan switch will still be plugged in when you pull the dash off so you'll have to unplug it once you can get your hand behind.

Then its two screws either side of the switch block itself (you may have to remove your clock if you have one because it can get in the way). Pull the switch block off and you'll see the connectors, give the ones on the back of the hazard switch a wiggle and try the switch (y)

Alright thanks for the help. I will check all that out this weekend. Yeah it's pretty cool not many over here. I didn't know about that one I will have to check it out. I just found another problem I have a hole in the freeze plug by the alternator anyone know what size freeze plug fits there?

freeze plug.. i think we call those core plugs over here. the plugs on the side of the engine block water jacket?

sadly i do not know the size off hand. i will have a look around for you though.
i am pretty sure that they would be the same size as anything else that uses the FIRE engine. that engine is available right up to a 1.4L! the only difference on FIRE blocks larger than 1108cc is 2cm added on to increase the stroke length.

Ahh looking here:
https://www.fiatforum.com/punto/243916-core-plugs.html?p=2546734

i found the core plug sizes. the one at each end of the block seems to be 50mm and the ones on the side of the block seem to be 30mm.

i am unsure as to what Fiats you have over in the US.

fantastic looking panda by the way! dont see many grey panda 750s around the UK, so must be super rare across the pond there.

how many miles/kms has it done? those doors! no rust! here in the UK, about every mk2 panda door is rusty. its why my panda 4x4 (the one with bull bars) has Seat Marbella doors on it.
