General Hasta la Vista Noisy Sunroof!!! :)

Have solved the noise in my sunroof.

Heres how:

Cleaned the inner part of roof where sunroof meets body. Then ran some 4-6mm draught excluder about 4mm from the upper edge of the cavity that the sunroof fits into, took the car for a spin and got up to around 100mph ( private road ) and hey presto the Pope could say mass in the car now without any interruptions!!!

Any pictures of the job? If so you could post a guide to fixing the noisy sunroof!

yeh, pics would be good. mine gets noisy in high winds and/or on the motorway.

Sorry for the delay guys, was away for the weekend!

Update: Diy job does not last, draught excluder does not stick very well near moving parts of sunroof!

This evening when I came back I parked my car next to girlfriends bravo with quiet sunroof and compared both.

Lined up my sunroof to be the same as hers and it makes it quieter but the MAJOR difference is her sunroof visor that pulls across cuts out all the noise that mine does not, i.e. if her visor is open the noise is the same as my car but with it closed the noise is gone.

The only difference in mine is that when my visor is closed the noise is not reduced but then my visor is loose, hers isn't, so any ideas????
