Technical front wipers noisy

I have a 2.4td weekend front wiper works fine parks ok intermittent is ok both speeds are ok but its very noisy thought i needed new blades so i changed them but no change does anyone have any ideas could it be the motor or is it the linkage.

need some information about the noise.......

noise is like a scraping sound as if the wiper linkage needs lubrication or maybe the bushes for the wiper arms are seizing noise is quite loud when stood by the car.

did you change just the rubber or the whole bit minus the arm.

changed the whole wiper if you move the wiper away from the window it still makes the same noise

disconnect the linkage at the motor; this will tell you which it is....
