General has any one tryed bg44k...

was in kwikfit to day and thay are saling this stuff called (bg44k) it ment to restore performance..(i.e) it says on the can it clean stuff like fuel injectors, intake valves, catalytic convertor, & oxgen senor..

it says pour in with your petrol..i think it like redex.....

just wondering if any one on hear has used. if so is it any good and
is it worth geting some..............

Aldi were recently selling an ultrasonic cleaning bath. Probably lots more effective though the parts would have to come off the car.

I hear that pouring brake fluid down your throttle body is a good way to clean the valves and injectors and that but you get loads of white smoke so keep revving until all smoke is gone.

Is this a good technique oi never tryed it as im not sure, a professional mechanic told me this is the best way to clean it out better than redex anmd that but id rather not try it from one persons view incase it messes up innit

I just use BP Ultimate all the time. I've never had issues with fuelling, emissions or ICVs sticking.

I'd worry about what it might do to the cat or O2 sensor.
