Took my car to fiat for a diagnostic as the fuel injection light came on and it was miss firing or something, expecting the worst, it turns out it was a 'water temperature sensor' or something, is that right?
just seems so simple, and how is that connected to teh fuel?
it cost all in all £101.11 for diagnostic, part and fitting, hopefully they are fitting it 2mo morning if the part is there.

In my experience, the FIAT SMART diagnostic is very accurate - if not a touch expensive (as you've just found out). I'm not technically minded enough to know if this is the problem that's been causing the mis-fire, but it's often something that you wouldn't necessarilly associte that causes all sorts of issues.

If it doesn't cure the problem - the ball is back in their court.........

Seb,

the diag' is about £40. If you got that plus a part and fitting from a Fiat dealer for £101 then you've done well!
My local Fiat place charges £60 an hour labour. Not too many jobs get done for £101 total believe me!
Hope all is well for you now.

Cheers,
Stuart.

seb, i had this problem on my car too, and took it in and they said it was the same thing, i changed that, and to no resolve, and in the end up, i had to get a second diagnostic and it turned out to be the thermostat!
