General Handbrake

Looked at some 124s and mazda rf today has anybody found the handbrake a bit close to the steering wheel, was very off putting on both cars, maybe i move my hands too much.

Raise the height of the wheel.

When I looked at and sat in a Fiat 124 I found that the handbrake was uncomfortable too high. The centre tunnel is elbow height so the traditional "pull up" is now a "lever up" which for some, especially smaller framed and shorter body people, will be a challenge and uncomfortable.
