General Handbrake warning light

whenever i go sharp round a right hand bend the handbrake light comes on and then goes away it seems that theres no brake fluid or something in there but there is i keep checking coz its reli annoying.

Check the pin under the handbrake lever.

The one under the hand brake lever.

Could be dodgy.

I had same problem and it's stopped since I put new pads and discs on the front of the car

same problem then jusrt stopped on its own lol been fine for months now just leave it and mak sure your brakefluid level is same

yeah same with mine, checked it over and nothing was wrong

Yep me to, i also have this problem, but have read some where that it might be because the handbrake is loose.

It's almost certainly because the brake fluid reservoir is low even though it looks like it's full when you take the cap off.

Undo the cap and with your finger ease out the little filter that you can see. Now take a look at the fluid level to get a true view.

Ideally wash the filter in meths then refit it. Top up with fluid making sure that it runs through the filter into the reservoir.
