General halfords spray paint any good

think about c/c my mirrors has any1 used halfords mixed paint for anyjobs was it a good colour match cheers

Depends on the person mixing. One staff member may get a perfect match and another might feck it up

I have a red Fiat Punto from 2001, Halfords assured me their pens for touch ups were the exact match to my car after having a look at it, so I went for it... They were well off.
I now have several lovely bright red patches over my stone chips that are a completely different shade to my car!! Oh well.. at least they can't rust

I don't know if this comment will be of any help as your mirrors won't actually be touching any of the other paint on your car so I guess you wouldn't be able to tell as much if it were a bit out? Thought I'd post anyway

as said above it really depends on the person mixing the paint.. i had mine made there and it's not the same colour as my car.. i mean it's not awful but it's far from perfect.. personally i won't be using them again. you'd be better off going to either a bodyshop or paint shop and taking your petrol flap in and get them to do it

I used halfords Fiat black rattle cans for paint touchups and cant see any difference. There are two shades of black (?) so there are probably a few shades of red too.

my cars not red is gunmetal grey and i think red is prob the worst colour to match up lol i may take a chance on it

that gunmetal grey colour should be ok to match, u dont notice fade on it as much.
if you take off you filler flap and take it i with you, they should get it close to that.

I done my mirrors recently, went to a proper car paint shop and even that didnt match due to the amount of fade on mine .

As said above, depends what guy you get. Ive had it mixed for a few different cars and apart from once its been spot on. I managed to take the wrong colour back so if it is wrong, as long as you aint used half the can you can get it remixed. The wrong colour was mixed because the dude was being disrupted all the time buy the other cluless staff!! By the way i could do with a can, how much is a spraycan these days to get mixed? Last time i payed £10.99

No way a near colour match

There Mix up Service - again looks right colour in bottle, but completely useless match, its several shades brighter.....
