So I bought one of these for a quick temp solution because of a huge key mark going along the entire side of the car and on the front of the bonnet. But now I want to remove it to get a decent job done now (the final outcome is horrible on it I think I applied too much paint and its embossed :bang:) what would be easiest way to get this off? No lacqour been used on it just paint and primer

Your best bet will be to just take it some little paint place that ent gunna rip u off ... and ask them if they can polish out the colour ... that should fade the colour and mix it all together well, thats what i had donee

Its better to have the whole side redone/ repainted with something this size. Any work done will always leave some signs, however small.

If you take lots of time, are careful and keep the sandpaper really really wet and then use the rubbing compound & polish properly, you shouldn't notice much, if anything, on the rest of the bodywork. In fact, it might even look better than the rest of the car. :p
Obviously, if you use a magnifying glass, there will be some signs.

Will this do anything to the original paint work?
