General Hahaha...another Punto GT query

Hi, I dont know how to get the washer jets on my lights working? I don't know if there broken or what, i thought they might do it when the windscreen washer jets were activitaed, but it isn't the case...

Any ideas? Manual doesn't help...

Some times the tubes get clogged up with crap. I fixed my dad's van ones using a needle and a jet washer Although i think there is proper stuff you can buy, but is less fun

Do they work when the lights are actually turned on? And maybe they only spray every 10 pulls of the wiper stalk

Ahhh, must say never tried them with lights on!

Will give it a shot!

So they do work when the windscreen wiper sprayers are activated arn't they? No another special procedure, the 10 pull thing does sound right like

Yes, you need to have your headlights turned on for them to work. However, as soon as you pull the stalk it will start to clean the headlights and windscreen at the same time; there is no delay, or need to pull it 10-times etc.

Still no luck

Turned lights on and everything, but still no water coming out! What else can i try?

Take the tubes off the back of the washer jets and give it another squirt. If water comes out you have clogged-up jets, so take them off and clean them, if nothing comes out then you have clogged-up pipes so take them off and clean them.

Uses the same pump and resevoir as the headlights so if your windscreen gets wet then it should be an easy fix

How do i take the tubes off mate? Do i have to take the actual jets off the bumper?! How?
