On Friday at Exeter Crown Court Ashley Mitchell, the Zynga Poker thief, was jailed for two years following his audacious heist of over £7 million worth of online poker chips from the Facebook application. Mitchell is reported to have stolen 400bn virtual poker chips from Zynga after he hacked the US corporation’s website. He then attempted to sell the poker chips at a fraction of their face value, which was when the plucky hacker got caught.
