Hello.

Following a thread posted recently on this subject I tracked this down.

Has anyone tried using the plastic doorcards and fitting an extra set of speakers (in the same size as on the front for example)?

I'm not a db freak ehehehe and it looks there could be enough space to fit an extra set of small speakers just under the elbow rest place (if people know where I'm pointing too).

My idea would be to keep the plastic doorcards while having just a bit more of sound power. Any downsides to it in case they fit? Will the plastic be able to hold or will it just vibrate a lot?

Have fun.

if i was to put rear speakers in my car again... i'd love to do it this way... but i wouldnt :D infinity 6x9's in the parcel shelf seem to not look over the top where are 6x9s in the side panels do look ott... and about having a sub. mind is a 15" 450watt rms sony xplode sub with a vibe a7 350watt rms amp for it (although it is turned right down) I get awsome sound quality with the mix of the infinity's as there set at mid/high range (i dont talk about the tiny 10cm front speakers:p). All powered by a Kenwood KDC-BT8141U. Can't say a bad word about that cd player!

Cheers, Josh
