Hi
I have a sporting 1998 s reg with the 1.2 16v engine. This is a resonable speed car but i want more. I have considered buying a GT but the only ones around are modded and have miles on the clock. Im looking to add the speed to my already modded car with 0 miles on the clock. I intend to buy all the parts needed new from fiat to built a GT engine and put this into my sporting. I need some advice, apart from having to change the front breaks and fitting rear arms with discs, wiring loom and engine is there anything else i would need to change.

Thanks

it would probably be much cheaper to sell your sporting a buy an old gt u can get them 4 about 1,200 with 70,000 miles on the clock, u could probably get more that £3,000 4 ur car. and it would be much easier rebuild it like that then starting from scratch. an origanl fiat turbo cost £900 u no .
or u can buy rebuilt gt engines. u would hav 2 change ecu maybe fuel lines engine mounts. alot of work alot of money good luck

Thanks for the reply, i have considered changing for a GT but im planning arounf £3000 for the engine swop if that will cover it. I know my car is in excellend condition and i really would like a new engine with 0 miles it owuld be like buying a new GT which are non producive.
