Evening all GP'ers :)

I've got a couple of questions as this is my first car im getting seriously into modding, some pics are to follow when we have some good weather and my car is lovely and clean :yum:

But a couple of things to begin with,

GSR induction kit for a 1.9? Where do i get and does anybody have any pics of what it will look like from standard to being fitted?

Secondly, been on the Forgemotorsport website and a lot of the GP gear is for the 1.4 t-jet? Nothing for a 1.9?

And lastly, Red dot... highly recommended? and general price for a re-map, looking to going to around 170 - 185bhp so i dont put to much strain on the engine and gear box.

Help and advice is greatly appreciated :D

Thanks

Matt

gsr- take forever to get hold of a second hand one, and really are not worth the money, i had one, fitted it, sounded chavvy and used more fuel, so sold it. IMHO better off with a bmc panel filter.

red-dot- i highly reccomend. £199 i paid for a remap, and got 194.8bhp, long trip from blackpool but qworth every penny.

Forge - the intercooler for the tjet also fits the mjet mate, and so do the braces, but i, along with many others tried the braces, and there pants, and they catch on the exhaust and make a horrendous noise.

Because i dont have any pics of my engine bay i will try and describe it as best as possible.

Obv engine block in the middle battery on the right, but i have what looks like an induction kit on the left, it isnt covered, just a large black hose with the filter in the middle... kinda hard to explain, not sure if its meant to be convered or held in place with something? its fine and not caused any problems.

And Red Dot is in London isn't it?

Bought off ebay some door sills and a badge less grill, will be fitted at the weekend :slayer:
