Grrrrrrrr...what is this noise?

When my 155 HGT warms up a squealing noise develops from the front nearside wheeel. If I steer to the right it goes and when I brake it stops. Sometimes it does not start again immediately especially after sharp braking but it does return.
What is this? It doesn't rumble like a wheel bearing but could it be the discs or pads? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

ggggggrrrrrrrr, that could be a tiger or a lion.

The squeeling sounds like worn pads, my scenic did exactly the same a while back. Turn left, right or brake and it stops, replaced the pads and now its nearly as silent as someone with no name. ;)

Grrrrrr.... mine makes that noise too!

Mines does the same! Ain't pads or discs though, brand new brembo vents and ebc pads!!! Thought it could be anti roll bar bush? Any one got any ideas on what it might be as it gets right on my nervs, also my idle has dropped to about 650 and now my altenator squeels at idle and these things are fly by wire so can't adjust cable?

Cheers guys.....

Re: Grrrrrr.... mine makes that noise too!

EBC pads squeal, they are not that good. ARB bushes would make a clunk, not a squeal.

Either brake pads/disc or wheel bearing.

Deff not braek squeel as it can do it under accel, turning, bumpy roads. Started after I had cam belt and VVT actuator changed! Deff from front drivers suspension area as well, getting sick of this car, loved it at first but faults are building thick and fast, leaking sun roof, clutch master cylinder, passenger window and it's only done 40k!

Re: Grrrrrr... mine makes that noise too!

If it started after you had the cambelt done its most likely to be something that was touched during the work, cambelt, tensioners, alt, PAS, aircon etc..
