Re: Re: Grinding....

205/40/17 - (i think) they are the ones fiat recommended) they are low profile yokohama A539.

Re: Re: Re: Grinding....

what width are the wheels themselves?

if they are more than 7" then that'd be why they are rubbing.

which stilo wheels are they by the way? look nice? got a pic of them, or of them on your car?

Are you sure

Are you sure they are rubbing and its not just the power steering sqeeling at you. Mine started to do that as soon as i fitted my 17's!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Are you sure

Cheers Sy, ill have a look when i get back from work at the weekend!
what do you think it coul be? could they be set too far in?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Are you sure

No idea james i'm the wrong person i don't havce alloys yet so haven't experience the problem,

Once the whell is off thought i would look for rubbing marks around the arch etc and check the tyre, see if it is being worn away, If it is grinding though could the Coer behind the disc not have been damaged or bent?

Could be the offset

Could be the offset if they are rubbing outside edge!

Im guessing it will be rubbing on the front edge of the tyre centrally though - just on the edge of the bumper (or do you have the mud-gaurds cuz they will rub).

if you take a hump back bridge to quick while turning it will rip your arche out! Lol
