Had lots of time on my hands today so went about a post winter clean up of my car.
Method as follows:
1. Cleaned the wheels with Bilberry wheel cleaner and the Elite Car Care wheel and detail brush. Rinsed off.
2. Snow foamed (Bilt Hamber) , left to dwell for 5 mins and rinsed off with a low(ish) pressure from the Karcher.
3. Washed with Autoglym Shampoo using a sheeps wool mitt and the 2 bucket method. Dried with a large mf towel.
4. Clayed with Elite Car Care ultra fine clay and Megs QD. A few scratches seen to with Autoglym Super Resin Polish. Then rinsed and dried again.
5. Waxed with Collignite 915. Buffed off by hand with a clean MF. Working a panel at a time, my arm now aches!
6. Rinsed a dried again (marvelling at the great beading).
7. Glass cleaned inside and out with Autoglym Fast Glass). Side and Rear window given RainX treatment - I found it smears the windscreen when it begins to wear out so personally I avoid it on the front glass.
8. Tyres dressed with Carplan Tyre Silk.
