General Grande Punto 1.2 17" alloys

Hi Guy's

I have 17" alloys for my GP and have had 205 40 r17s on but I have just had standard springs fitted from lowered ones as kept catching the front of my bumper over even the smallist of speed bumps but know my wheel's and tyres look like for want of a better Phrase like P**s holes in the snow, what would be the biggist tyre i could have fitted to my wheels.

I put 15 inch alloys back on as the 17's made my car struggle pulling away, i took pity on the gearbox haha.

If i was you i would have kept the lowering springs and opted for a smaller alloy. better acceleration and the gearbox will love you

were they proper fiat ones or aftermarket wheels?

i have a 1.2 grande with 17s and mine is fine
i have 205/45/17s on and they look ok tbh although mine is on eibach sportlines
but it came standard with 15s with 65 profile tyres
