Please show me why parts on an Mjet will last longer than a Tjet? What proof do you have of anything breaking on a Tjet faster than an Mjet to substantiate these claims? None. Its not cheaper to insure, they are both the same insurance group. Tjet was cheaper to insure than an Mjet for me and still is with everything declared. Why did i compare standard to standard? Because its unfair to compare most modified stuff. Of course Diesels are going to get big power gains off just a remap its the characteristics of the engine. Might use slightly less fuel but that fuel in the first place is more expensive to buy. If you do 12k a year or less then the difference between running an Mjet and Tjet is minimal with it probably just swaying in the Tjets favour for being cheaper to run. This is where the Mway bit comes in. If your doing big motorway miles then yes the Mjet is the one to go for as it will **** over a Tjet all day long for MPG stats as this is where it is built to be cruising up and down the motorway compared to a Tjet which is build for blasting about b roads in.
As i said(if you read my post properly
) they are 140bhp as standard not the 120bhp fiat quote (graphs to prove aswell). If fiat hadnt fitted such a gay turbo on the Tjet to stop it beating an abarth off just a remap then no contest it would be similar power to the Mjet. You can only guess on it being under powered if you havent driven one. How do you know if or when it is underpowered without driving one? You dont.
