that power graph at the end didnt look too good i thought it was meant to be a nice upwards slope! Whats with the big drope half way thru the rev range making it a big M shape

Anything new and exciting for the 1.416v? Running a GSR induction just wondering if anyone knows of anthing more that can be done and where! I realise that re mapping is not possible but could you replace the ecu with one from say 1.416v 500 then remap it? Is that a stupid question?! Just hungry for a bit more poke!

For the price of an ECU new from fiat tis pretty pointless. If you really want to do it buy a piggy back ECU but its alot of money for minor gains

i found a guy on ebay who is selling brand new ecu's for fiats and alfas. He is quoting £100 - £140 for any ecu. Not bad i think! so if he had a 500 1.416v ecu could it be transferred?! Then remapped! Do you think i would risk loosing the functionality of certain conponents?
any ideas?

my dads spoke to him, said he sounds like a good bloke. my dads got a ultima sport that hes putting a maserati 4200 v8 (pretty much the same engine as the ferrari f430 with the odd internal differences and characteristics) in and i think emerald are going to be doing the ecu for him on that.

emerald seem a fair bit cheaper too it was about 3/4 of what he was quoted by dta.
