Hi, have currently got the 1.4 16v Sporting, 56 Reg, bought for £6k in June, I have seen and tested a 57 Reg 1.4 T-Jet Sporting, which I was impressed with, for sale at £6999 reduced from £7999 with 18,000miles on the clock. I have today been offered £5500 as px leaving a balance of £1500 after initially been offered £4500, it is a Fiat dealer in Aldridge near Walsall. I have never owned a Turbo so could you please let me know if this is a good enough deal (daft question for most) and if there are any problems that I will need to know with the T-Jet engine or any other issues? Thanks in advance.

I have done 32k in mine now. Still on the original tyres (reckon i will need to change them at 35k though) and have only had 1 major issue (Boost sensor failed, it should have been an easy fix but my dealership had 3 attempts at fixing it!). Other than that i have had a few niggles. Lower grill keeps popping out, rattling door locks and the wife keeps kerbing the frigging alloys!! Its been a very solid car for me and i am very impressed with it. Its fairly cheap to insure considering its a fairly fast car and it can be economical too (i can get 38-42mpg all week long). I would most def recommend one.
When mine is out of warranty i have an Abarth Turbo, Forge Braces, Forge Adjustable actuator and Abarth Springs to go on it. Then i'll head to red dot for an induction kit, remap and a decent exhaust for a fairly fast car i hope!

let us know if you go for it :)
