Well I wish my dealer had known what he was doing then, as I might have been tempted to shell out the £375 for the red.

As it is, they are probably already spraying my body white as we speak in sunny Italy (well, I hope they got the order, given the stoopid salesman he might have sent it on to Ford).

Apparently tomorrow (Frday 17th July) is the cutoff date for the current-look GP orders; after that nothing until the face-lift launch in September and UK delivery starts in January 2010. Too late for me though.

I'll put it down to fate...

honestly, they can get you it in red, i dont understand why Fiat dealers have to be such c0cks sometimes.

Take solace in the fact that Mercedes Benz sell much more expensive cars and compared to Fiat's lot they seem like they're all issued with the 'Being an Asshole For Dummies' textbook.

Few more outside shots. not sure why the side rubbing strip needs hiding unless there is graphics on it.?

Hmm mentions on this site 8 engines including:

1.2 petrol - this has already been dropped in favour of 1.4
1.9 Mjet - an engine that they just cannot get rid off, has supposed to have been dropped from the line up in favour of the more tree hugging 1.6, yet the 1.9 lives on.

Are they sure they have their information correct on the engines.

will be the new multijet 2 engine probably, but it does seem confusing

What is it with Fiat and mid-life facelifts?? This reminds me of how horrendous the front styling of the Punto 2.5 was when it was first revealed. Completely loses the elegant simplicity of the original and is trying to ape the Fiesta. I imagine Mr Giugiaro is fuming! However, the interior is vastly better and I like the rear lights.
