Nope because the facelift is out in 2010 so if i was you i would be hodling off for one of the facelift models personally.

I shall save my pennys for more extras while i wait then! :)
as long as there isn't a price hike for the facelift model ill happily wait a few more months before buying.

I like the new dash, does look very soft-touch.
Not too sure on the unknown light should be interesting if more pictures get leaked.

So I am cutting it a bit fine then anyway!

My order went in on 30th June. Dealer reckons by the time head office have collated and processed all the orders it should be with Fiat by Friday 10 July, just sneaking in before the door closes.

I can't afford to wait, as my PCP runs out in January and there is no way I'm paying that final rental (balloon payment) when I could use a bit less than that money as a deposit for a brand new car.

Let's hope Perry's don't screw it up. Or Fiat for that matter.

Could that strange light that appears then disappears be a daytime running light which all cars must have by 2010 or 2011?

Well, front indicators notwithstanding, by the time I get my next Punto (the one after I'm supposed to be getting in a couple of months, ie around December 2012) those lights will be LEDs anyway - and it will have had another face lift I reckon!

The folks at fiatblog.nl seem to have done an "artists impression" of what they think the new front-end is going to look like...

I say "seems", because the article is all in Dutch, and I'm going by the google translation.

Based on their analysis, it looks like the fog lights are moving as well as the indicators.

The new Multiair versions will run alongside the present range, which will seemingly be reduced in number and have a very small selection of current engines, and cost less. It might be that the present interior will remain in the base models creating a two-tier GP model range.

I wish I could have ordered my new GP in that fire red colour - but the Sporting range only has a subset of available colours

So I stuck with white on the basis that I wasn't going to pay for a colour I didn't want!

What's the betting the new range (come Jan 10) will have the new fire red available in Sporting trim?

Hi folks, thats my impression indeed, i'm the person behind fiatblog.nl, a new website with news on Fiat, drivingtest, etcetera.

The impression is made after the to scoop-pictures that I had seen. It seems like the logo is moving upwards en the Punto is getting driving-lights or something like that.

Remember, its just an impression, just based on the two most recent pictures.

Ciao!

The red in the above picture?

Yes, the red in the above picture! I saw it on a GP at the dealer and said "That's the colour I'd like" but he said "Sorry, only available for Active or GP variants, not Sporting".

He couldn't understand why they would restrict the colour scheme on, effectively, their top end models but that's the way it is.

So white is my colour of [forced] choice.

What did you say you protected your car with - some kind of special wax?

thats a load of crap.

when the GP was first released, you couldnt get the red (exotica red) on any model other than sporting, then they released it on the active sport.

honestly, they can get you it in red, i dont understand why Fiat dealers have to be such c0cks sometimes.
