General Goth metal blue

Hey all, decided I'm gonna to buy a 500, but can't decide on colour! Really like the Goth Metal Blue, but the 500 configureator will not allow me to choose that colour, and was wondering why? I'm aware that it was originally a colour for the 500c, but in the latest 500 brochure (edition 08/09) it indicates GMB (as well as ragamuffin red and tech house grey) to be an option on the 500 as well as the 500c.

I'll phone up Fiat tomorrow and ask, but i'm a bit impatient so wondered if anyone on here knows!? Is it just that it is now an option but fiat havent updated their website?

They haven't updated the ordering system either, so my guess is you are reading the brochure wrong (I haven't seen the new one yet, so it is only a guess) and it isn't available on the Hatchback.

Fiat always announce colour changes etc to us before updating their brochures/website, and I have yet to see anything saying the C colours are going to be made available on the Hatchback.

Definately definately reading brochure correctly. 500 colours are on page 4/5 and 500c on page 26/27. Also adds them in the 500 section on interirs/exteriors. It's in the 'technical specifications and customisations book'

I'll have a rummage through the product updates and see if I can find anything I may have missed then...

Seems odd they would be in the brochure but not on the ordering system.

That is exciting news though, if it's true - I quite like those colours and would probably go for one of those rather than an exising 500 colour if available (when I finally get mine, planning after Christmas this year to order....). Do you know if GM Blue is a 'flat' blue or a metallic?

Ah but remember that the 'HIDs as standard' were in the new brochure and this turned out to be wrong...
Pick a back up colour as it may be wrong (again!)

They have added Rock 'n' Roll Blue as an alternative 'free' colour to Bossa Nova White, and also added to new colours (simply called Dark Grey and Met Plum as opposed to a music-related name like all the others) but I haven't tried ordering anything in either of those so don't know if they are UK colours or not.

It's a 'Special' colour. So a non-metallic that is £250 extra.
