I can't believe how quiet it has been here since Jim left...

Mmmmmmm..... I'll be back!

Ok, Juppy made it no probs (45 mpg in 32C heat, even thou the most god awful traffic in central London which was killing other cars left, right and centre!) and having the roof down the whole way means we got a 'tropical' cruise tan!

Goodwood was great, lots of noise and petrol fumes. We even did the off road course in the Landcruiser which he said a Panda could do no problem! and there was a 1912 Fiat Tipo that was made in the US of which very few survive..... (like most fiats then!)

Right, alan ready now so I'm off down the pub!

Good stuff, I have to say I'm surprised the car made it. His track record didn't inspire confidence! Any photos?

Yeah, I'll throw some on tomorrow when I get back.

And Juppy won't hold your words of confidence against you....... :D
(Althou we're no where near home yet :( )
Right, I'm off to do battle with Holiday traffic and the M25 on the way to Nottingham.

Jim

Juppy's an 80's child so the internet is way byond him, so I'm just using the hotel internet cafe to kill time between cars, drinking and food.....

Forgot to bring my memory card reader and there's no bluetooth on these things so your going to have to wait till tomorrow night for photos.

(In nottingham now borrowing the next door neigbours apple thing and his wi-fi throu the wall and running for food now and then to Old Trip to Jerusalem for a drink so if your in Nottingham later keep an eye out for Alan struggling with Juppy's gear box...... )

Jim

I was only checkin the oil!!!

Anyway, back safe and sound.....

There where a few fiats there too. A rally 131, a 130 saloon and an 1912 tipo 35 that was made in the USA under licence but Fiat Us failed after about 16 cars...

(Ignoring Steve for the time being cause I'm still huffin! :D )

So the final tally was 5 days, 1168 miles, 10 litres of coke, 116 litres of fuel, 12 Quaker breakfast bars and an average 45.9 Mpg which I'm quite proud of as the 4x4's are much lower geared and are straining a bit on the motorway.

And mainly no serious incidents of breakdowns!

So, what next?

Jim

...and no, Juppy doesnt run on Quaker Breakfast bars or Coke before someone points that out! :p

That was just the passengers (who by the looks of it where having a real home from home!)
