General Goodbye!

To everyone I have ever been in touch with on here since last November when I followed my heart and bought my Multi, I just wanted to say thank you for your help. It's a very friendly community and long may it last! I should also mention the Multipla Owners Group as well here!

After lots of repairs and money and hassle and heartbreak, I finally decided to go for something different. After finding out that I would have to pay out yet another £500 for a turbo, the mechanic recommended the Ford Focus estate for me, as it is apparently a very reliable car. I've gone back to petrol for now but hopefully in future that'll change. The Focus estate has none of the character that I loved in my Multi but keep your fingers crossed for me this winter!

I hope the Focus wasnt fleet owned and thrashed around by a service engineer, all estates and people carriers generally have to work for their living and give more trouble than normal cars.

Unfortunate to hear that even a decent forum wasnt enough to keep the bug on the road.
It does seem what is saved in purchase price is spent on repairs instead of depreciation. You just dont get the hassle of needing it fixed.
