Just to let you know that i had starting problems with my 1.9jtd doblo van when warm, It would turn over but not fire up, once it cooled down it was ok. Someone on this site said it was a possible crank sensor, and they were right. I had it changed and now there are no starting problems at all... Thanks for the originall info...:)

Welcome to the site (y) have you been down to the Doh blow section and asked the guys down there

Hi There,

Pleased that a new crank sensor has cured your starting problems. I have a similar - ish problem with my doblo (see my thread).....and hope you dont mind me asking if the "new crank sensor" job was an expensive repair????.

Thanks.

RPM Sensor has been replaced and has cured this starting problem. Apparently it is located down the back of the engine behind the gearbox.

Exactly the same problem in my 5 year old 1.9 jtd multipla. Crank shaft sensor replaced by Fiat dealer and problem now fixed.
