i have just spent an hour and 8 minuites on the phone to a call centre for GE Money (i have store cards... silly silly me)
now, I'm not usually one to moan about foreign people etc, christ, i work with them day in day out... its my job... but this call has pi**ed me off no end
the guy at the end of the phone could hardly say a word of english, and as per was reading from a script... the only problem is, each time i triued to give him my account number for the store cards he got it wrong... que 30 mins trying to get one account number sorted... being put on hold repeatedly while he 'checked' something or other (what the hell it was i have no sodding idea... i was telling him everything i he needed...) and eventually go the acc no right... now onto payment! oh yes, you guessed it! not only did this take ages, but he turned around to me and told me the payment had been refused... now i know thats not the case, ive just regiggled my loans and i have more money than i really should! at this point i lost my rag, 50 odd minuites into the call. its not often i go into one, but god i was in an awful mood, wanted to reach dowwn the fone and smack the guy in the face repeatedly with something smelly and a bit hard!
eventually told him to transfere me to someone who could speak a word of english without having to check in the dictionary what every word said was (actually said that... oops) and lo and behold, i go through to an english lass... she sounded quite fit too, kinda dirty hopefully..
3 minuites later, 2 accounts paid up and jobs a goodun!
i feel like i could batted kittens and bunnies right now.. anything remotely cute could suffer!
sorry, had to get that off my chest, or the car will be getting some stick she really doesnt deserve, and i cant be doing the rolly polly thing twice in very similar cars
