so what is everyone giving up for lent? i havn't decided yet, i'll probably give up lots of stuff and see which is the easiest to live without.
My dad suggested i gave up driving so fast and using too much fuel.[xx(] thats not gonna happen. any thoughts welcome

Going to a Catholic school it was suggested we didn't waste our time giving up chocolate but do something meaningful. THis was good (in my agnostic sort of way) until they suggested praying every day for everyone else.

I will give up giving up stuff.

Or maths, but my math's teacher isn't very happy about this.

I would but I doubt the gf would be too impressed. I once gave up everything, like in the film "40 days and 40 nights". I last 27 days. Quite admirable I think!
